Movers and shakers in the dental industry gathered on the 27th and 28th of January 2017 for dentistry´s first live podcaster Continuing Education (CE) summit. Called Voices of Dentistry, the event gave dentists around the world a chance to earn CE / CPD credits for participating, rub shoulders with their favorite dental podcast hosts and guests, as well as participate in the various live broadcasts.
One of the active participants at the event was an education partner of the WCEA’s, Bradley Bale, MD of the Bale Doneen Method in the United States. Bradley Bale, MD and Dr. Amy Doneen, DNP, ARNP founded the “Bale/Doneen Method” which uses advanced lab tests and imaging to directly check patients for hidden signs of arterial disease. One specific aspect it checks for is whether plaque is found in the arteries, indicating that the person is at risk of a heart attack or an ischemic stroke.
Their method advanced to the point that seven years ago they started placing a guarantee on their ability to prevent heart attacks and strokes. Several studies which analyze their clinical date have been published in peer-reviewed journals. The results show their care halts, stabilizes and regresses arterial disease.
They were keen to let the global dental community know about the launch of a new 3 hour CE training series which is to be made available through the WCEA’s leading global education distribution network. The WCEA is helping thousands of CE providers and educators sell their courses internationally by providing them with free Learning Management Systems (LMS).
We´ve realized that educators do not want to spend their time, effort and money on software, the international marketing of their courses and global sales tax returns. Our platform handles all of this allowing educators to get on with their business of creating high quality CE for professionals across numerous industries.
The new CE series which Bale and Doneen will be offering on their education portal focuses primarily on arterial wellness and the critical role of oral health in that regard. The courses are targeted mainly towards dentists and hygienists. However, even team members of a dental practice would benefit from the information.
Dr. Bale and Dr. Doneen believe there is nothing more important than arterial wellness since every cell and every organ in the body depends on it. It also dramatically mitigates the risk for dementia, heart failure, kidney failure, erectile dysfunction, ischemic bowel disease and peripheral arterial disease.
The important point to take away from this is that all these conditions significantly reduce a person´s quality of life – and they are avoidable. However, achieving great arterial health depends on excellent oral health.
Dr. Bale said that the main benefactors of their courses will be those who take them, as many will discover they actually have certain risks allowing them to take action to avoid dire consequences further down the line. The courses are split into three parts:
- Part One: Are you and or your patients at risk for arterial disease?
- Part Two: Basics of the Bale/Doneen Method- A Guarantee for Arterial Wellness.
- Part Three: The Oral-Systemic Connection to Arterial Wellness.
Bale and Doneen believe this series is a financial bargain. They wanted to make this life saving information very economical for the global audience. If you´d like more information, please visit their education portal by clicking here.
