California’s pharmacists, who are members of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, are now granted access to an expansive continuing education resource.
Formed in 1962, the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists was founded to aid the needs of hospitals and health-system pharmacists throughout the state. Working on the behalf of more than 3,500 members who practice clinical pharmacy and specialized medicine, CSHP is the largest state association for pharmacists in the United States.
The organization aims to promote the development of health-system pharmacists, and the associates’ further education in the field.
Now to help members of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists progress further in the field, the organization has partnered with the World Continuing Education Alliance. The WCEA will provide the CSHP with its own online education platform, which will be available to all of its members.
The partnership between the two groups will allow members to develop and advance their skills by connecting with the WCEA’s Pharmacy continuing education platform. Associates will be able to grow their capabilities in connection with the WCEA, which will further develop participants’ skill sets as they progress in their careers.
The WCEA is dedicated to promoting education to further the development of professionals in their chosen field. The partnership will allow the CSHP members to benefit from a wealth of educators that the WCEA puts in contact with them.
