Description

BRDC is the most common disease affecting feedlot cattle in the United States, costing producers over $1 billion each year. This five-module course has been co-authored by five experts in the field; each module focuses on an aspect of diagnosis, treatment, or management of BRDC. The modules include a variety of case studies, practical videos, printable resources, and tips to improve your practice. Stress is directly related to an animal's immunological response. Reducing stress during the production cycle will decrease the number of calves affected by BRDC. Module 3 focuses on reducing animal stress and performing a thorough chute-side audit of processing facilities.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1. Diagnose, treat, and manage of BRDC.

2. Reduce stress during the production cycle.
