-Provide education to patients and families on how sleep hygiene and cognitive-behavioral interventions can improve sleep.
-Compare the advantages and disadvantages of available pharmacologic treatments for insomnia.
-Provide counseling to patients and families regarding the safe and effective use of prescription and non-prescription sleep aids.
