Description

PolyMatrix Powder is a new vehicle with adhesive and protective properties when applied to wounds or mucosal sites. Upon application Freedom PolyMatrix Powder combined with commonly used Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) will form an occlusive gel that adheres to the the wound or mucosal surface forming a protective barrier. This hypoallergenic dosage form is easy to formulate and compound while offering a easy-to-apply, versatile dosing option for patients.

Mr. Tom Wynn RPh
on behalf of Fagron

As a Fagron Academy Compounding Consultant, Mr. Wynn brings over 14 years of compounding experience to the consulting team. He completed his pharmacy studies at the University of Cincinnati and received his Bachelor of Pharmacy. He is currently on faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Mr. Wynn has a compounding focus in HRT, veterinary, and wound care. He has published multiple case studies in areas of wound, pain, and pediatrics. Mr. Wynn has worked in community pharmacy practice setting the majority of his pharmacy career. He brings insight into common problems faced by compounders today.
