Description

Most clinicians know (if only from the memories of Pharmacology classes) that detoxification is controlled by genomic predicates. “CYP” SNP’s have long been studied in drug metabolism to provide one example. All phases of biological detoxification are affected by genomics and thus all areas of detoxification support can be impacted by these genomic abnormalities. This presentation will take both a “top down” as well as a clinical “bottom up” look at the places most clinically relevant to genomic medicine and detoxification.
