Dr. Jack Schaeffer

Dr. Jack Schaeffer practices in Birmingham, Ala., where he is president of a 15-location group practice as well as a refractive laser center. He lectures internationally, serves on numerous industry boards and advisory panels, and is involved with many clinical studies on contact lenses, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. He was executive associate editor of the International Contact Lens Leadership Summit organized by Eye and Contact Lens. Dr. Schaeffer also served as chair of the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of the American Optometric Association and as president of the Ocular Surface Society of Optometry.ractices full scope optometry with special interest in contact lenses and ocular disease management of the anterior segment and glaucoma. He publishes in numerous optometric publications and is on the editorial board for Optometry Times. Dr. Brujic has lectured internationally to eye care practitioners on contemporary topics in eye care. He is also a clinical examiner for the national board of examiners in optometry. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Sonia, and daughters Zoe and Ava.
Dave Kading, OD
Dr. David Kading primarily sees teens and adults. He specializes in treating front of the eye problems like allergies, red eyes, dry eye syndrome, Keratoconus, corneal degenerations, and other diseases. Dr. Kading has post-doctorate residency training in the evaluation and fitting of specialty contact lenses for high astigmatism, high prescriptions, multifocals, Corneal Reshaping Therapy (Orthokeratology) for children and adults, and solving visual problems after eye disease or surgery.
