Description

This is a case study about a bitch with uterine torsion. It was the Best Technician Case report for 2016 at IVECCS.

Objectives

Uterine Torsion Education
To bring awareness to a rarely diagnosed complication to whelping with life threatening consequences.
Oxytocin education
To bring awareness to the pros and cons of oxytocin and the importance of diagnostic testing before injections of oxytocin.
