Description

Dr. Crisler delves into the emerging role of the general dentist in placing implants, the increasing need for implants and the cost and profitability of getting started. John F. Crisler, DDS, MAGD, practices aesthetic restorative dentistry in Rio Rancho, NM. A 1977 graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry, Dr. Crisler served in the US Public Health Service, Indian Health Service from 1977 until 1980 on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona and New Mexico. Dr. Crisler has been active in the Academy of General Dentistry, serving as president of the New Mexico AGD from 1994 until 1995 and as the New Mexico delegate to the AGD House of Delegates from 1995 until 1998. Dr. Crisler received his Fellowship Award in the AGD in 1990 and his Mastership Award in 1996. Dr. Crisler is a published author and is a founding member of The Implant Study Club of New Mexico, and is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Crisler is also a founding member of The Southwest Academy of Esthetic Restorative Dentistry and is a general member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
