Description

Many xerostomia patients go undiagnosed for a long period of time, but dental professionals are often the first to notice when a patient is suffering from dry mouth. Recognizing the symptoms, accurately diagnosing patients early on, and recommending treatment is a valuable service that dentists are uniquely positioned to provide. For patients who have complications wearing dentures due to the effects of xerostomia, implants can improve their quality of life.
