Description

Small-diameter implants are an effective treatment modality and can aid patients who cannot otherwise receive implant treatment. With SDIs, many patients can enjoy immediate benefits and enhanced quality of life. Because of a simple surgical protocol that takes significantly less time than conventional implants, it can be a productive and profitable procedure. In many cases, a short training program is all that is needed for doctors to confidently place small-diameter implants.. With the exception of their distinctive diameters, small-diameter implants (SDIs) are virtually identical to conventional-sized implants and exhibit high long-term success rates. Ideal for many patients who are unable to receive conventional implant therapy, SDIs can provide an improved quality of life for those with loose dentures or missing teeth.
