Description

The MBT Versatile+ Appliance System was designed around light force mechanics that utilize simple techniques to achieve better treatment outcomes without any additional work. Finishing and arch coordination are easier because the orthodontist controls tooth position, not the wire. Dr. John McDonald uses the MBT system to deliver board quality results in a busy clinical practice. In this webinar, Dr. McDonald describes these simple tools as well as the rationale behind them. You will learn how easy it is to implement these techniques into any practice and delegate to chairside assistants while maintaining full control of the case.

Dr. John McDonald practiced general dentistry for six years before obtaining his Orthodontic Certificate and joining his father, Terry, in what became McDonald Orthodontics in Salem, Oregon. Their practice was the first in the U.S. to fully integrate the MBT Appliance System after it was released in 1997. Since then, Dr. McDonald continues to use the MBT System concepts of stability, periodontal health, and facial aesthetics along with efficient tooth movement to provide the best clinical care to his patients.
