Description

In this presentation, Dr. Robbie Lawson reviews the rationale and published evidence for optimal tooth positioning from a biological perspective. He outlines and discusses the use of the Incognito Appliance System Digital Setup in the treatment planning process. Dr. Lawson shares how he has, in his opinion, achieved optimal periodontal health and stability through the combination of Incognito System precision and the three dimensional interactive planning of the Digital Setup Lab (DSL) tool.

Dr. Robbie Lawson

Dr. Lawson did his dental training at Dundee University, graduating with honours in 1990. He undertook his orthodontic specialty program at the University of Wales, graduating with distinction in 1996. He gained his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, winning the William Houston gold medal. Since 1996, he has been is specialist practice in Edinburgh, Scotland where he is a partner in Edinburgh Orthodontics. He is past chairman of the Scottish Orthodontic Specialists Group, and is an examiner at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has had a special interest in lingual orthodontics since 1999, having used a wide range of lingual appliance systems. He has presented nationally and internationally on lingual orthodontics and is a member of the Incognito™ Appliance System Key Opinion Leader group of clinicians. He presents regularly at Incognito System Certification courses, Refresher Courses and In Office Courses.
