Description

For most contemporary dental offices, the use of LED curing lights play a huge role in our daily restorative techniques. With the increased placement of bulk fill materials in direct composites, there is considerable evidence that delivering inadequate energy to the restoration can result in less than optimal properties and clinical outcomes. This webinar will focus on the importance in selecting, utilizing and maintaining our curing lights in order to create successful clinical outcomes for our patients.

Objectives

Objectives
Review the importance of proper light curing Understand how beam profile uniformity and the positioning of the light source play a key role in clinical success Learn how you can evaluate your current LEDs for effectiveness Identify issues of concern with high output lights and short curing times Utilize this information in a practical and positive manner in your practice

At Catapult Education, we take a contrarian approach to CE. We’re zigging while everyone else is zagging. Research shows that only 15 percent of a thriving practice’s success is dependent on the dentist’s clinical expertise. Yet, the majority of CE today continues to be clinical. At Catapult Education we’re listening to the dental community and we’re expanding that focus-not by reducing clinical CE or diminishing its importance, but by increasing the scope and depth of non-clinical CE as well.
