Description

The purposes of this study were to verify clinical symptoms and jaw functionality in college students with TMD according to the anxiety/depression (A/D) level and to evaluate the correlation between A/D and functionality, maximum mouth opening (MMO) and pain and muscle activity.

Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to do the following:Identify physiological and psychosocial factors in TMD diagnosis.Identify the professional criteria and methods used to diagnose TMD, A/D, and TMJ.Understand the results and limitations of this research study.
