Description

Many doctors struggle with two aspects of practice management – conducting staff meetings and terminating the employment of staff members who become a negative force in the practice. Dianne Glasscoe Watterson, RDH, BS, MBA has more than 30 years in dentistry. Her business, Professional Dental Management, Inc., is based in Frederick, Maryland. Dianne has published hundreds of articles in various professional journals. She authors two monthly columns - one in Dental Economics magazine called “Practice Wisdom” and the other in RDH magazine called “Staff Rx”. Dianne is a well-known provider of continuing education for dental professionals and has presented for associations and major dental meetings across the US. In addition to serving on the editorial board of RDH magazine, Dianne has also authored several textbook chapters on documentation and mitigating liability in Foundations of Periodontics for the Dental Hygienist. She has published two books: Manage Your Practice Well and The Consummate Dental Hygienist. Dianne was honored by Dentsply as a “Distinguished Dental Professional” in 2005. Also, Dianne was honored by Colgate in 2009 and 2010 as a “Key Opinion Leader” and serves on their Oral Health Advisory Board. Dianne has been chosen as a Leader in Consulting/Speaking by Dentistry Today every year since 2006. She is a member of Christian Medical/Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Speaking/Consulting Network, and National Speaker Association.
