Description

This CE focuses on a patient who works in the publishing industry and was always embarrassed by her smile. When a press release crossed her desk about painless porcelain veneers, she instantly knew this is what she had been waiting for. She gained an attractive, permanently white, proportionate smile quickly and pleasantly. She never had to endure injections, bothersome numbing, the disturbing feeling of irreversible, invasive drilling, the inconvenience of temporaries, or post-operative discomfort. Experience firsthand how beautiful prepless veneers can be a reliable, conservative cosmetic procedure for many patients currently in your practice.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. You may cancel your reservation/subscription at any time. If any fees were collected, you will be issued a full refund.

Objectives

Utilize the principles of adhesion to place prepless veneers.
Learn how to bond to enamel using E-max veneers without removing any of your patient's sensitive tooth structure.

Discover the artistic technique of shade modification.
Learn how to effectively mask stains to create a natural, translucent smile.
Learn how to effectively educate your patients.
Knowing how to place painless porcelain veneers is just as important in knowing how to present them to your patients. You will learn techniques on presenting painless porcelain veneers to your patients.

Dr. Robert Ibsen
on behalf of SmileSimplicity

Robert L. Ibsen, DDS is the former CEO of Den-Mat Corporation, inventor of Rembrandt® Whitening Toothpaste and LUMINEERS® and educating pioneer for Smile Simplicity®.
Dr. Ibsen has dedicated his entire career to the preservation of tooth structure in the practice of cosmetic dentistry. Responsible for the development of numerous adhesive professional dental products still popular within the profession today, he pioneered the development of advanced adhesive techniques to accomplish superior non-invasive, pain-free esthetic restorations. He co-authored the first book on adhesive dentistry titled Adhesive Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Ibsen’s vast experience includes his contributions as founder of Den-Mat Corporation, which during his tenure became one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of cosmetic dentistry materials. Den-Mat’s extensive research and development process led to LUMINEERS, a breakthrough in ultra-thin veneers that virtually eliminated the need for the shaving or grinding down of original tooth structure.
Dr. Ibsen and Den-Mat spearheaded the whitening category by being the 1st company to receive the ADA seal for in-office bleaching paving the way for the development and introduction of Rembrandt Whitening Toothpaste in 1990. Rembrandt Oral Care Products, which centered on the safe and highly effective whitening benefits, became resoundingly popular among consumers, and is now currently marketed by Johnson & Johnson.
Dr. Ibsen now devotes his time and boundless energy to lecturing at dental meetings; educating dentists on the skills to perform successful esthetic veneer restorations without removing sensitive tooth structure; and is still active in his private dental practice. A graduate of the USC School of Dentistry, he is also a fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics, Academy of International Dental Studies, American and International College of Dentists, Academy of General Dentistry, among others. He can be reached at robert@smilesimplicity.com or by calling 805-346-8100.
