Description

This webcast includes printable course notes. This 60 minute online vet nurse CPD tutorial is aimed at veterinary nurses who would like a better insight into the different types of fractures that are commonly seen within veterinary practice and the ways in which they may be repaired, including information on pins, plates, screws, ASIF equipment and external fixators. It also looks at how these patients can be nursed in the pre, and post- operative periods, and how a successful discharge and good post operative nursing can lead to an enhanced recovery.  Finally, the tutorial looks at the complications that can occur with the various methods of fracture repair.
