Description

From first line options to salvage therapies and palliation, this presentation will provide an ample introduction to the dynamic and constantly progressing world of human interventional oncology. It will cover basic aspects of image guided medicine and its role in complete interdisciplinary care; ablation technologies including microwave, radiofrequency, cryotherapy, high frequency ultrasound, and irreversible electroporation; endovascular based therapies ranging from a various array of embolics to internal radiation; musculoskeletal and pain interventions; as well as an introduction to minimally invasive management of cancer related complications.

BKelsie Bohne is a graduate student at the University of Missouri studying Veterinary Public Health. She has a bachelors degree in Animal Science also from the University of Missouri. Kelsie was the summer 2016 intern for the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association.

Ashley French DVM is a 2012 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a small animal practitioner at Weathered Rock Veterinary Clinic in Jefferson City MO. She is the assistant director of the Volunteer Veterinary Corps.

Charles E. Massengill, DVM, is presently with CRM Veterinary Consulting. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1979. He presently serves as director of the Missouri Volunteer Veterinary Corps. He is also a member of the Emergency Management & Public Health Committee and Missouri Stocker Feeder Quality Assurance Program.
