Description

What are the expected results from a value study or continuous improvement application?

In some cases, the executive management is not satisfied with the results of value improvement studies. This may lead to questioning the effectiveness of the tool used or the capabilities of the value specialist. Mostly, the cause of results that do not meet expectations has no relation to the Value Methodology (VM)itself, although it may lead to an unfair judgment on VM. We will discuss the steps that will enhance the results of those studies based on the Saudi Electric Company (SEC) experience.

Objectives

Objectives
Learn how to enhance study results through a systematic series of steps that, properly applied, will yield significant results in both performance improvements and life cycle cost savings.
