Description

This lecture gives an outline of the anatomy and surgery of the gastrointestinal system, including potential complications. It discusses the post operative considerations for the GI patient and the importance of nursing care post operatively, including use of feeding tubes and likely medications.

I work as the senior surgery ward nurse at Langford Veterinary Services. I have worked here for over six years, since graduating from Bristol University. I love the challenges that my job bring to me each day, and thrive on the chance to improve each patients recovery. Outside of work I play hockey with a local team and love to spend time with my family and friends.
