Upon completion of the course the participant should be able to: understand the parts of the patient history that are most important when refitting and rehabilitating the cornea; discuss relevant current information that needs to be elicited or observed to make good judgments about refitting; describe the various reasons that a patient may present themselves for a refit of contact lenses; determine the appropriate course of action to resolve the patient s problem; explain the various courses of action which must be customized based on the patient s prior lens wearing history, their current complaints and the material that they wear.
