After graduating from U.C.L.A. with a Bachelor of Arts degree, his career started when he apprenticed with Barbara McReynolds and Gai Gherardi of l.a. Eyeworks, immersing himself in their creative energy, working in various capacities at their wholesale, retail and service business for 14 years. During his run there, we saw innovations from this Design House that revolutionized eyewear and sunwear. David began his career with Kenmark in 2001, as the Director of Product Design.
