Leslie Summers
on behalf of Alameda County Bar Association

This program will review the “he said/she said” dilemma in family law cases to help you determine when substance abuse testing is appropriate. We will discuss the types of testing in addition to their strengths and limitations. There is often a nexus between alcohol abuse and domestic violence and Leslie Summers will also present other options when working with DV cases.

Ms. Summers will also explore the definition of alcohol dependence, help attorneys to understand their own alcohol use, how to identify if they are alcohol dependent, and where to go for help.
