Description

Please join the ACBA Environmental and Real Estate Sections for an engaging program on how to address environmental contamination issues in the context of a real estate transaction, including cost recovery issues. Christine Noma, and environmental consultant Robert Schultz, will address the nuts and bolts of how to investigate and clean-up contamination, and the key components lenders use to review contamination issues and criteria crucial to a cost recovery claim.

For clients selling, acquiring or developing contaminated real property, Chris Noma provides legal advice and oversight of environmental issues, including evaluating and directing environmental site investigations and the implementation of remedial action plans, negotiating remediation standards with environmental regulators, and preparing environmental indemnity provisions.

He assists clients with the development and implementation of legal and regulatory strategies pertaining to environmental impacts. Bob’s focuses are hydrogeologic characterization, hydrologic studies, groundwater quality assessment, environmental regulation compliance, and pollution liability assessment and resolution.
