Corneal Topography This presentation is designed to give you a better understanding of the topography of the cornea, as well as give you a number of different ways to define the cornea s topography.

Objectives

Objectives
Upon completion of the course the participant should be able to: illustrate the various methods available for analyzing the corneal topography, the keratometer, the photokeratoscope and the corneal mapping system; identify the various components of each system; discuss the methods of calibration and maintenance; discuss the various principles of optics that are involved in the use of each of these instruments; demonstrate the use of each of the instruments and be able to interpret the results obtained; convert the information gathered about the corneal topography into useful information relating to contact lens fitting and problems solving.
