Learning for Vision
on behalf of Learning for Vision

Learning for Vision was developed by Centre for Eye Health (CFEH) as an extension to its highly successful "Series of Continuing Professional Education" (SCOPE) which has educated participating Optometrists since 2010.

Learning for Vision provides Optometrists with up to date, clinically relevant information that is presented as an interactive learning experience. The data, resources, clinical expertise and case studies of CFEH have been used to build each module. This includes resources from over 18 000 individual cases and over 120 000 separate state of the art imaging results.

CFEH is a joint initiative of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT and the University of New South Wales. As well as clinical practice, CFEH is also undertaking NHMRC funded research which adds further material and resources to the Learning for Vision modules.

Because everyone learns differently, we have designed a range of learning formats so that you can choose the style that works for you. These include interactive webinars, Video Lectures, Case Studies and Literature Reviews.

All of our modules are approved by Optometry Australia and NZAO and most are approved for Therapeutic (AUS) or Clinical Diagnostic (NZ) points. Our on line learning platform includes interactive Webinars in Australia which allow you to earn more than the 12 face to face learning points required annually. This means that you can earn all your annual CPD points at your own pace, in your own time from wherever you are.
