Dr. Laura Selmic - Dr. Selmic graduated with a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 2004. Following two years in private practice and an internship, she completed a residency in small animal surgery at Texas A & M University in 2010. In 2011, she completed a clinical fellowship in oncologic surgery at the Flint Animal Cancer Center, Colorado State University. In 2012, she was recognized as a board certified specialist of small animal surgery and a founding fellow of surgical oncology. She spent 2 years as a research scientist at Colorado State University and completed a Master of Public Health degree with focus in Applied Biostatistics in 2013. She joined the University of Illinois as an assistant professor in 2013. Dr. Selmic’s research interests include imaging to enhance surgical planning and assessment of surgical margins, cancer epidemiology, clinical trial and study design.

Charles E. Massengill, DVM, is presently with CRM Veterinary Consulting. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1979. He presently serves as director of the Missouri Volunteer Veterinary Corps. He is also a member of the Emergency Management & Public Health Committee and Missouri Stocker Feeder Quality Assurance Program.
