Description

This webcast includes printable course notes. This 45 minute online vet nurse CPD tutorial is aimed at student veterinary nurses or qualified nurses who would like to revise and refresh their knowledge of the digestive system, including anatomy, physiology and the conditions which may occur. The tutorial will discuss the different parts of the digestive system and how each part functions, it will then look at the clinical conditions which may occur; how they are diagnosed and treated. The tutorial will then look at surgical preparation and post-operative considerations for patients with hernias, gastric dilatation and volvulus, intussusception and those requiring splenectomy.
