Description

Module 2 of Kidney School provides basic information about the treatment options for renal failure, pro's & con's of each, the lifestyle implications of treatment choice, and the importance of the patient's role in choosing a treatment. This module emphasizes the benefits of more dialysis treatment time and availability of home treatment options.

The purpose of Kidney School Continuing Education courses is to educate renal professionals about the medical and psychosocial impacts of end stage renal disease, as well as patients’ experience of coping with this chronic condition.
