Description

Module 13 of Kidney School provides information about how chronic kidney disease affects heart health. High blood pressure is the number two cause of kidney disease. Heart disease is the number one killer of kidney patients. This module offers suggestions about how to manage blood pressure and keep kidney patients' kidneys and hearts healthy.

The purpose of Kidney School Continuing Education courses is to enable the learner to better understand the medical and psychosocial impacts of end stage renal disease, as well as patients’ experience of coping with this chronic condition.
