Judith Shub, Ph.D.Judith Shub, Ph.D. is NYSDA-s Assistant Executive Director for Health Affairs. Her department provides administrative support to NYSDA-s Council on Dental Benefit Programs, Peer Review and Quality Assurance, Dental Practice, and Dental Health Planning and Hospital Dentistry. She works extensively with dental benefit and health care reform initiatives. In addition to providing technical assistance to NYSFDA members and the public, she has published a number of articles and lectures on a variety of topics relating to dental practice and dental benefits. Dr. Shub holds a doctorate in sociology. Her graduate studies concentrated primarily on sociological theory and medical sociology. Her dissertation was a study of dental student socialization.
