Description

Pulp capping procedures have historically been challenging. The primary objective is to save the tooth, however, due to the uncertainty of success with this procedure some clinicians opt for root canal therapy. In these uncertain financial times giving patients the option of foregoing RCT with a less expensive, invasive procedure is a welcome change. Now with several different and newer bioactive and biomechanical products available the DDS has the option to restore pulp vitality.

Dr. Robert Levin attended UCLA where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. While attending UCLA, Dr. Robert Levin was a member of the gymnastics team. Dr. Robert Levin graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1985. Clinical Instructor in the Practice Dynamics, Community Dentistry and faculty for Mobile Dental clinic within the USC School of Dentistry in 1985. Started Allcoast Dental in 1986 where he still practices. He enjoys practicing family dentistry in Huntington Beach where he has been for over 23 years. He participates in ongoing education and is an active member of: American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society.
