Description

Starting January 1, 2011, ten-thousand (10,000) people turn age 65. This will continue every single day until the year 2030. Albert is a baby boomer with high blood pressure and high cholesterol and been told he is pre-diabetic. His wife will with no longer sleep with him because of his awful mouth odor. His physician referred him to the dental office. He presents with an abundance of calculus and build up making his lips stick out a bit. He hates when dental hygienists yell at him about brushing and flossing. This CE webinar will help practitioners position their practice with highly effective, customizable services to prepare for the new mature marketplace.

Patti DiGangi, RDH, BS graduated from William Rainey Harper Dental Hygiene and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Leadership from National Louis University. She continues to take an active futureoriented leadership role in a variety of professional organizations. She teaches solutions to help participants discover ways to protect and enhance their brains and ultimately be more effective in profitably treating patients. Patti is a certified Health Information Technology trainer through the Office of the National Coordinator for Healthcare Information Technology Workforce Development Program. She is a member of the American Health Information Management Association taking an active role in our shaping the changes in our electronic world. Patti holds a publishing license with the American Dental Association for Current Dental Terminology and is an ADA Evidence Based Champion. She is a National Speaker’s Association Certified Speaking Professional candidate. Patti recently received the Sonicare/RDH Magazine Mentor of Distinction award at the 2013 ADHA 100th Anniversary and was recently awarded the Dentistry Today’s Leaders 2014 recognition. Patti is well-known for her articles in Dental Economics, RDH Magazine, Dentistry Today, Progressive Dentist, Efficiency in Group Practice, American Dental Assistants Association journal as well as numerous online CE programs and webinars. In April 2013, Patti’s first book DentalCodeology: More Than Pocket Change became available. It was written to prepare clinicians for soon coming interoperable electronic health records. DentalCodeology: Diagnostic Coding and Medical Necessity will be available in fall 2013.
