Description

This course will unveil helpful hints to utilize for the benefit of the orthodontic patient to prevent detrimental effects of inadequate homecare. Within the course there will be an overview of the types of braces and fixed appliances to increase the knowledge of the dental professional in regards to orthodontics. There will be information on different adjuncts to assist in accessing areas around braces and orthodontic appliances along with products to control or prevent disease progression. The increased knowledge of the dental provider focusing on orthodontic care contained within this course will improve patient outcomes in the creation and maintenance of a beautiful smile. When you complete a continuing education course on dentalcare.com, a form will come up that requests your name, address, etc. If you are a member of the AGD, make sure to fill out the field that asks for your AGD membership number if you are not an AGD member, leave blank. When you hit submit, a copy of the proof of completion is emailed directly to the AGD and PG. For your records, make sure to print a copy of the proof of completion certificate.
