Course Availability

This course is only available to trainees days after purchase. It would need to be repurchased by the trainee if not completed in the allotted time period. This course is no longer available. You will need to repurchase if you wish to take the course again.

Description

This course will teach the clinician how to administer an effective, safe and atraumatic local anesthesia injection to a child or adult. Rather than avoiding local administration for fear of traumatizing the pediatric patient, the clinician should strive to learn and use the latest modalities of local pain control to create a pleasant and comfortable dental experience for the child. When you complete a continuing education course on dentalcare.com, a form will come up that requests your name, address, etc. If you are a member of the AGD, make sure to fill out the field that asks for your AGD membership number if you are not an AGD member, leave blank. When you hit submit, a copy of the proof of completion is emailed directly to the AGD and PG. For your records, make sure to print a copy of the proof of completion certificate. Disclaimer: Participants must always be aware of the hazards of using limited knowledge in integrating new techniques or procedures into their practice. Only sound evidencebased dentistry should be used in patient therapy.
