Does not provide an in-depth review of material, more about the logistics of test and how to prioritize what to study

I appreciate the content about how the exam is made, scored, etc. but I feel too much time was spent on it and not enough on exam content. 45 minutes is very short for any exam prep and a full-length practice test seems essential.

In test preparation, many example questions and more than one full-length practice test are essential tools. I also have concerns about the predictive ability of this practice test in terms of actual test scores. Any practice test that makes test takers falsely feel they will do better than they actually will perform is not only not a good tool, but actively harms people's best efforts to prepare.
Lacey Veenendaal (9 Nov 2018)
I took this course to help study for my exam primarily because I wanted to participate in exam-type questions. Although the exam was brief, detailed information about the correct answer and citations were given at the time of reviewing the exam. That was incredibly helpful!

Chari Schwartz (8 Oct 2018)
Excellent exam
Kalyani N (7 Nov 2018)
Great experience... still it would be better if we get the clear explanation for wrong answers
Christy Salinas (6 Nov 2018)
I feel better prepared and less nervous about what type of questions will be on the exam. I unfortunately did not pass the first time, so taking this exam really helped encourage me.
Mrs Ayşegül Demir Çorlu (6 Nov 2018)
Brief explanations and sample questions has been helpful. Exam part would be longer to practice.
Ms Cheryl Meyer (6 Jan 2018)
I feel much more confident after understanding the specifics about how the questions are weighted and the having the opportunity to take a practice exam. I feel more focused now to continue studying with the intention of taking the exam as soon as possible!
Ariel Plante (5 Nov 2018)
This course is helpful in learning the structure of the test and emphasizes where the majority of studying should be placed. I now have a better idea of where to focus my studying in order to be successful on the certification exam!
Megan Stark (5 Nov 2018)
Good exam!
Erin Davis (31 Jan 2018)
I felt the prep exam covered a variety of topics and did a good job at stating the questions clearly.
Sylvia Mealey (30 Sep 2018)
A very useful tool to guide me through my studies.
Marjaana Siivola (30 Oct 2018)
This information should be available for the student without extra pay. It was really basic information. And there was no feedback on which questions were answered correctly and which were not. Big part of the learning was lost by not displaying which aswers were not correct. Not really worth the money.
Mrs Lesley Pascuzzi BSc, MSc (30 Mar 2018)
Good course although I would have liked to have been able to get more feedback on the questions I didn't answer correctly.
Jennifer Bultman (27 Oct 2018)
I have not yet taken the Lamaze Exam for LCCE so I cannot compare the accuracy of the practice test in helping me to prepare for the actual examination; however, I feel like I have a better understanding of what compentencies are most tested as well as how to response to a situation with a pregnant person according to what normal, physiological childbirth looks like.
Hannah Levine (27 Apr 2018)
Very informative course!
Shruti Harlalka (27 Apr 2018)
The Exam is a real good evaluation of your understanding of the subject.
Mrs Julisa RochaBlair MPH, BSN, RN, CLE (26 Sep 2018)
I just wish it was longer, there aren't enough questions
Jessica Greene (26 Oct 2018)
It is nice to go back and retake the practice exam in preparation.
Ms Natalie Marcum (26 Apr 2018)
I wish there were more questions.
Amy Krutsch (25 Apr 2018)
Would like to review answers and attempt more questions
Singh Kajal (25 Apr 2018)
I found this course very helpful.
Samantha Rand (24 Oct 2017)
I can't get the email link to work, so I'm hoping this works: Hello, I am wondering if this exam practice is video based or not? If it is video based, I am wondering if it is closed captioned or if a transcript is available? I don't want to pay the $50 fee to practice to find out I cannot access it due to my hearing loss. Could you verify or explain how the set up looks like? Much appreciated.
Sheetal Churchill (24 Apr 2018)
It was good to be oriented to the variety of questions that can be asked on practical implications of different facets of childbirth educator's preparation.
Erin VandeLinde (23 Apr 2018)
I did not feel like the review course was as specific as the exam questions. I also would like to be able to access the answers to the questions before having to make an evaluation.
Kimberly Hayes (23 Apr 2018)
Hopefully the test will be reflective of the practice test. My anxiety is still high although I did extremely well on this test.
Ms Elizabeth Gavin RNC-OB, BSN, NC-BC, CLC (21 Apr 2018)
I was unable to access the class, I was only able to go straight to the exam.
Kasey Kesner (21 Apr 2018)
This class was great for understanding HOW it's designed. If you have any amount of test anxiety, I recommend the practice exam to help gain more confidence. This practice test offers insight and explanations that may help you feel more self-assured. It was great for easing test jitters for me, and I learned a lot.
sandra nazareth (20 Apr 2018)
it would be worthwhile to get the correct answers, to compare so we know were we stand.
Alaine Strozier (2 Nov 2018)
I was concerned because my first test was a fail @ 77%. I wanted to know what I got wrong. I called Lamaze and got the answer key. When I say my mistakes everything made sense, I was able to do more reading and then I passed the prep course with only 3 wrong.
Priscilla Brickey (19 Mar 2018)
Glad I invested in the practice material.
Charish Dissinger (18 Mar 2018)
I thought the practice exam was very well done and I feel confident that I will be able to pass the exam with some more studying.
Ayla Harrison (18 Apr 2018)
I would say that there are quite a few questions that have more than one correct answer, depending on the circumstances.
Amanda Roden (17 Apr 2018)
Course helped me relax about what the test will be. I’ve been so nervous about knowing specific dates (which I’m horrible at remembering) and I’ve been nervous because I’m a terrible test taker! Thanks for this! I just wish we had a full 150 question exam to feel more realistic! :-)
Ann Pollack (16 Sep 2018)
It was reassuring to know how much I did know. I was happy that they provided detailed answers to any questions I had, this cemented the information for me.
Liana Kurka (15 Apr 2018)
I have taken this exam several times and have been unable to see the questions I am missing, which does not help me study or learn what I have done wrong. I feel the first time around, the correct answers should be made available regardless of your score.
Mrs Ambar Rivera (14 Oct 2018)
I would have preferred more details on what and how to study than so much information on how the exam is formulated and graded. Nonetheless, I'm glad that I took this preparation course.
