Description

Expectant parents have many questions about breastfeeding for childbirth educators. Is milk-sharing okay? Are there supplements that can help with milk production and are they safe? Is it safe to take anti-depressants while breastfeeding?

Participants can earn 1.0 Lamaze Contact Hours, 1 contact hour of CNE credit, and 1.0 R-CERPa upon successful completion.

Denise Hancock, PhD, RN, LCCE

Dr. Hancock has worked as a nurse educator for 8 years. She is currently employed full-time with William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She teaches research methods and evidence-based practice in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Dr. Hancock has been a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator since 2007. She currently serves Lamaze International as a volunteer nurse planner on the Accredited Provider Unit committee.
