Description

The development of new treatments and evidence-based guidelines has not resulted in improved asthma management for many patients. The field of implementation research has emerged to address the science-to-real-world gap by improving the adoption, integration, scaling up, and sustaining of evidence-based interventions, policies, tools and services.

This session will provide an overview of the importance of implementation research to improving population-level asthma management and identify implementation research programs that are addressing asthma management in diverse healthcare delivery systems and populations.
