Record Documentation and Follow Up Visits This presentation is designed to give you a better understanding of the appropriate procedures for record documentation and follow-up visits. Proper follow-up protocol and record keeping will be discussed within the scope of this presentation. The student will be able to relate the standard of care for routine and non-routine follow-up visits.

Upon completion of the course the participant should be able to: list the important pieces of information that are necessary for thorough contact lens charting; relate the importance of each piece of information as it pertains to effective problem solving and prevention; list the various key pieces of information; explain the proper technique for performing visual acuities, tear tests such as TBUT and Schirmer s, and auxiliary measurements that include HVID, palpebral fissures and pupil size.
