Description

Introduction: This course will empower the attendee with the fundamental knowledge required for working with soft contact lenses. Soft toric and multifocal contact lenses will be discussed along with fitting guidelines to help maximize success.

Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to: understand a brief history on soft contact lenses along with those that may be a good candidate; understand similarities and differences that exist in the different modalities of lenses; understand the principles and fitting strategy with soft toric contact lenses.

Mile Brujic, O.D. is a partner of a successful five location group practice in Northwest Ohio. He practices full scope optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease management of the anterior segment and contact lenses. He publishes a monthly column in Review of Cornea and Contact Lens and has been published in Contact Lens Spectrum and Optometric Management. He is active at all levels of organized optometry. Dr. Brujic educates eye care practitioners at the local, state and national level on contemporary topics in eye care.
