Introduction Welcome to Increasing Your RX Capture Rate, an online learning opportunity made possible through an educational grant provided by The Vision Council. The goal of this session will be to explore avenues you can use to increase practice revenue by increasing the numbers of patients that make their eyewear purchase from you. Bottom line…we want to keep your RX’s in-house!

Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to: describe an evaluation process to assess current capture rate and identify where lost RXs are going and why; prepare a plan to professionally recommend eyewear solutions in the exam room, document, and reinforce them verbally and in written form to the patient; describe methods to transfer the patient and the authority to the Optician.

Rene's role is to custom design, deliver and implement educational and training programs for eye care professionals and The Vision Council's members. Her programs are focused on sales, marketing, communications, motivation, practice management/business and merchandising. Rene is a 30-plus year veteran of the optical industry. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends and loves cooking and entertaining.
