Description

Introduction There is nothing more frustrating than attending a meeting that is unorganized, boring and unproductive. Unless you are the one running such a meeting. Whether it be at a civic organizational meeting, state society convention or an in-house staff meeting, those present need to be motivated, kept in order and feel like they are involved in the process. Meeting agendas are an important facet and must be prepared in a way that is easy to follow. We will examine the differences between poor and productive meeting agendas and how to properly use them in a timely manner. Additionally, the minutes (or written summary) of the meeting are crucial as they become hard copy records for the practice. We will look at examples of meeting minutes and create one step by step. This course is filled with pearls on how to improve open communication, delegate without negativity and how to share the outcomes of such tasks. This course is a must for those that desire to improve their current meetings or begin the process of running staff meetings.

Objectives
