Wavefront has been evolving as a clinical science in eye care for the past 20 years now. It started with refractive surgery in the 1990s when I became involved with it and it has been growing rapidly as a vision and eye care diagnostic science as well ever since. I published this textbook in 2009 with the goal of converting the complex mathematical and optical physics of wavefront science into understandable clinical, diagnostic and non-surgical and surgical corrective approaches for day-to-day practitioners’ use. The story is told over 6 chapters in a casual, ‘user friendly’ style with extensive graphic support. It’s actually an enjoyable – almost a fun read. An extensive 30 page Subject Index is available on this website at no charge for referencing and/or downloading (as a pdf file) at the program entitled Wavefront Science in Vision and Eye Care: SUBJECT INDEX (LINK: http://wco.easyshare.education/by/dr-louis-catania/128075/wavefront-science-in-visio-and-eye-care-subject-index).
