Description

A 28-year-old woman, gravida 1, para 0, in gestational week 38, presented with a non-tender, palpable mass in the right groin. Ultrasound (US) of the right groin demonstrated a 2.5 cm hypoechoic, well-demarcated, and homogeneous mass located subcutaneously; the mass was vascularized on color-Doppler examination (Fig. 1a and 1b). This appearance was interpreted as a pathologic lymph node (reactive or malignant).
