Learn the ways in which Veterinary Dentistry is important to our small animal patients and ways in which you can apply this class to your practice.

Objectives

Learn the incidence rate of dental disease at this time
Learn the incidence of dental disease visual/exam prevalence as well as % of time to see radiographic changes
Learn how dental disease impacts local and systemic health
Local and systemic health is affected in many ways (listed) in the presentation
Name at least 4 routine exam room findings that indicate a need for dental treatment
Many types of oral changes seen in the exam room can be found and treated routinely.
Choose at least one item discussed to implement in your practice to do more dentistry.
Many possible small changes can be made. The summary reviews them. Select at least one to change in your practice so you can make your CE time worthwhile.
