Description

During this lecture we will evaluate when a fat dog is just a fat dog or when canine adult hypothyroidism is the culprit. We'll discuss the clinical signs of canine hypothyroidism, the challenges in diagnosis, and appropriate therapies. A brief discussion of feline hypothyroidism will follow.

Participants will be able to better identify the clinical signs canine hypothyroidism, understand the challenges in making a diagnosis and learning what to monitor, and available treatment options for the patient.
