Description

Emergency diagnostics are intended to answer specific questions in a rapid time frame to allow us to resuscitate and stabilise our emergency patients and identify life-threatening or otherwise severe problems. In this presentation I use some case examples as well as general discussion to show how emergency diagnostics, such as emergency database blood tests and focused ultrasound techniques, are used clinically. The training includes a number of ultrasound video clips and a transcript of the presentation is also available to download as a PDF.
