Initially in practice, Fiona worked in all veterinary disciplines but particularly with sheep, goats and cattle. Fiona runs her own sheep flock health consultancy business, Flock Health Ltd and works as a consultant sheep veterinarian for Evidence Based Veterinary Consultancy (EBVC). She teaches veterinarians, students and farmers, has contact with all stages of the lamb supply chain from producers to retailers and does consultancy for pharmaceutical companies.
Having been the president of the Sheep Veterinary Society (SVS) in 2013/14, Fiona continues to represent sheep veterinarians at all levels of the sheep industry. She is a member of the Sheep Health and Welfare Group (SHAWG) and the British Veterinary Association (BVA) Veterinary Policy Group.
