Description

As demand continues to increase across the enterprise, the importance of project evaluation and prioritization becomes mandatory across the organization. Effie Economopoulos works for the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System referred to as UI Health. Effie has been part of this health system for 19+ years working solely in IT and directing their Project Management Office for the past 7 years. UI Health is an Academic Medical Center and a recipient of the Davies and Most Wired awards as well as HIMSS Analytics Stage 6. Within her current role, she manages a team of 5 project managers, has developed structured project management methodology processes, continuously develops the IT strategic roadmap, and works with the CEO and other hospital leaders on the enterprise project governance process.
